5213.0. "POP server ACCVIO ucx4.1 eco4" by BSS::G_MCINTOSH (Touch Not the Cat, Bot the Glove) Mon Feb 10 1997 17:11
I have a 4000-6- running OpenVMS 6.2 and UCX 4.1 ECO 4 that keeps
crashing if ONE particular user (just one) tries to access her mail
files via a pop client software. The transcript of what happens is
attached at the end of this message.
I do understand that UCX POP server may crash with the ACCVIO message if
it reads a variable with VFC .MAI file, but I checked all her .MAI
messages, and all of them had the following attributes (xx in allocation
field varies):
File organization: Sequential
Shelved state: Online
File attributes: Allocation: xx, Extend: 0, Global buffer count: 0
No version limit
Record format: Variable length, maximum 0 bytes, longest 0 bytes
Record attributes: Carriage return carriage control
RMS attributes: None
Journaling enabled: None
What could possibly be wrong?
Thank you for any help you can give.
