Hi,

Has anyone tried to configure UCX's NFS to serve NFS Client for LAN WorkPlace 
from Beame & Whiteside Software Ltd and get it work successfully ?

I've tried Digital TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V3.3 and V4.0
with LWPNFS V3.0d without success.

On VMS end, I setup as follow :-

On PC DOS end, I try to mount the UCX file system as follow :-

C:\> net register
Username : FIELD
Password :
Registered as user "FIELD"

C:\> net link m: \\zpoe09\dka400
Authorization error
Device M: not linked

However, I can nfs mount from an UNIX w/s to UCX (same settings) and net 
link this LWPNFS PC (same commands) to an UNIX's nfs server.

Is the above configuration supported or do I need other PC nfs client s/w ?
Please recommend.

i had a similar problem and UCX V4.0 ECO2 solved it.
(UCX V3.3 has then same fix in ECO8)

ECO 2 updates:
--------------
        UCX$PCNFSD.EXE                  UCX V4.0-10A

        Problem:

        Incorrect brackets prevent authentication from ever
        working with V1 protocol.

        Solution:  

        Move misplaced bracket.
