Sort of a reference to .5, does Multinet still provide a tunnel for a DECnet circuit? We had one setup ast a customer site, but nobody bothered to check on the areas in use, so naturally we became unpopular for a while. It worked quite well, from what I recall... If they still do this, then wouldn't that provide the mechanism to tunnel DECnet in IP packets over PPP (provided that they do PPP/SLIP). bob | |||||

I understand that some terminal servers support PPP. My question is does UCX/VMS need to have the PPP support too in order for a customer to access, through PPP, some application on VMS that uses PPP, let's say for example a Web server. TIA. edgar |
