    V3.2 of DECdocument for OpenVMS is available in the following
    locations:

    MSEDEV::Touch_kit:[DOC.032] Savesets
                      [DOC.032.DOC] IGuide
                      [DOC.032.OLDDOC]Bookreader files
                      [DOC.032.ODL.HTML] HTML files

    In addition to the usual bug fixes this version has enhanced HTML
    output capabilities including vivid-color output. Also added was the
    optional use of HTML graphical navigational buttons.

    RE: HTML support for CUP doctypes - There is a separate V3.2 kit to
    support these doctypes. It is in-house just waiting to be tested before
    it can be released. I can't give a definite date for testing to be
    completed.

I have already installed this version on another system to replace the previous
version (V3.1F), and the install has worked fine.

Any ideas.

4792.5Reduced facilities at this release level?TAEC::quango.vbo.dec.com::MorcombeFri May 30 1997 10:1920
Lynne,

I'm not clear from your note whether the new version V3.2a supports
the CUP doctypes for PostScript (as does V3.1F) and just does not
support them for HTML, or whether we have gone backwards and it
doesn't support them at all.

We have had trouble installing V3.2 (see notes 4792.4 and .1), but,
after the successful installation today I just got a message about
unrecognized doc type when I tried to compile to PostScript output
with CUP.A4.

The Graphics editor also does not seem to behave in the same way as
at V3.1F. We have lost the cropping facility, at which point it has
no advantages over DECwrite.

Do we still have installation problems, or have the facilities
changed at this release level?

Jane.
4792.6Postcript supportICS::GRETTUMThu Jun 05 1997 11:1113
    Jane,

    With V3.2 you should have the same capability you had before with
    regard to Postcript. The cup family doctypes are not installed as part
    of the writers toolkit do you need to re-install those doctypes.

    RE: Graphics Editor - There have been no changes to this according to
    Touch. They were not sure what you meant by the "cropping facility" and
    asked if you could tell them what cpmmand/menu option isn't available
    to you.

    Regards,
    Lynne
