Hi all,
a customer is asking for a list of all the return status (hex messages)
that the DDAL$SAVE_STATUS can hold. He would like to trap a "singel
transfer" failure (e.g. the result of some DBKEY error) and a
"generic" transfer failure (e.g INVLOGTRN).
Is this possible?
Is this the recommended way to do this error checking or is there some
other (more reliable??) way of doing this?
Regards
Peter

I believe I spoke with your customer on the telephone and eplained that
the status information he seeks does not include the detailed error
message code, such as, INVLOGTRAN. The error code is one of a small
set, listed in the product's handbook, somewhere in the middle chapters
where prologue and epilogue files are discussed.
