    You don't have to belive me, I'm just speaking from 20 years of women 
    looking through me or in disbelief that someone under six foot (and not 
    looking like Favio...)would even try to talk with them...
    
    I'm sure there are exceptions but I haven't found them single and

insulted by the intimation of such shallowness.

I'll let you know that being tall is hardly a cure-all for dating woes.
I'm plenty tall but lack the looks of a Fabio and don't have a real charming
personality, and women don't exactly throw themselves at my feet.

Women are generally more interested in personality and less in appearance
than the typical man is.  They may be picking up on the "if I were only taller"
feelings and it may be a real turn-off to them, rather than the height itself.

    I've noticed women have a love/hate thing when it comes to Fabio. Never
    heard a woman say "Well, Fabio is ok." or "Fabio's not bad." or
    "Fabio's cute if you're into that sort of thing." or "Hey you look like
    a nice guy, much nicer than Fabio! Want to come over to my place and
    play battleship and then have a nice hot bath and see where things go
    from there?"

    Actually, I should amend my statement to say that I prefer puny,
    stragley-haired, bloated-ego-musician types that treat me like crap.

    Those types were always popular when I was in school. However I don't
    remember if they treated you like crap.

I think all that practice with the guitar strings makes them experts with
women's heartstrings.
