    A 1975 Glenmorangie finished in port wine barrels.
    
    I rather like it.

    The Macallan is aged in used sherry barrels.

I also recently discovered that their generic 10 year malt is finished in
Bourbon barrels.  Huh.

	Most scotch is finished in bourbon barrels.  By law bourbon
	barrels can't be reused to make bourbon, so they're sold to
	scotch distillers.  Some high-end single malts are aged in
	port, sherry or madiera barrels.  

	On another subject, I tried some 15 year old Glen Keith
	the other day at the Castle Restaurant in Leicester, MA.
	Very nice light highland.  Fairly dry.  Very smooth.

Yes, I medium high end scotch that I got (aged in port barrels) is really
quite nice.  The madiera stuff I sampled at the liquor store was just too
weird, though.
