705.0. "Unashack" by AIMHI::RAUH (I survived the Cruel Spa) Tue Apr 16 1996 13:44

O.K. The feds have been finding great stuff at the Unabombers pad. In a
one room shack they found three new things yesterday. Like what on
earth could be so well hidden in a shack that is ruffly 9x11 feet or
    such.

Gag of the day. Try to guess what else the feds might find in Teds
    shed.:)

example: Jimmy Hoffa in the floorboards.

what'd TK do, sleep standing up or hanging from gravity boots?
they've been finding enough stuff in there to fill a warehouse...

They search every square millimeter. Floor, ceiling, walls, cabinetry,
bed, table, the whole shootin' match. They record everything they find
in minute exactitude as to location, description and so forth, and they
even take photos of things in situ. They package everything carefully
for transport. They don't want to miss anything, not even something as
small as a single hair or a grain of gunpowder. It takes time. They
want their case to be airtight when they get around to presenting it -
unlike the LAPD, the FBI people know what they are doing and how to do
    it right.

Cuz they confused areas, and thought they were back at the Freeman's
place. It took them a week before they would even enter. And when the fires
were put out, well, it took a bit longer to find any evidence. :-)

If they have enough evidence without the "big swim", then probably not.
However, I remember a case several years back where someone was being
investigated for (I believe) bombing the IRS. The FBI got and executed
a search warrant for his septic tank (thinking he may have flushed some
    of the evidence).

Could be - it seems like the government no longer cares
about observing alot of the ideas set forth in our
constitution. Hence people start making bombs to
    make there point.

Funny thing is the government only cares less when this
happens and John Q. Public can't see thru the blood and
guts to understand WHY a bomb was blown up.
