    The Brookline Schools Staff Children's Center (BSSCC) is hosting a
    casino night saturday March 23rd from 7-11 p.m. at the Brookline (MA) 
    Holiday Inn.  BSSCC is a non-profit parent cooperative day care center
    and the event is being held as a fundraiser.

There'll be two rooms, one for cavemen and one for cavewomen.  If a cavewoman
decides she wants a baby, rooms will be available at reduced rates at the
front desk.

    Hmm ... it is in Brookline so no need for anyone to come out now;
    they're already out although the BSSCC seems to be a little more
    tolerate across the whole spectrum than Jacoby would have us beleive

    We were only in Dallas a total of 4 hours, but the place is obviously
    head and shoulders above San Antonio...I just don't understand all the
    hoopla about S.A....as a matter of fact, the customers that we visited
    on base, 5 of the 6 are out of state and are only "paying their dues',
    and the only native admits that the fishin' leaves alot to be
    desired...I told him about the C.B. and he's gonna layover an extra
    couple days so we can hit take off a few days fishin' in the Land of
    Pleasant Living!

    I liked Dallas, I REALLY WAS DISAPPOINTED IN San Antonio.  Much like a
    girl at her first prom, maybe I was expecting too much and I was really
    disappointed.  I can blame that on my SIL who is a native SA.

    San Antonio is a dump!  Riverwalk is ok, but 2-3 blocks in any
    direction from it and it's slumville, USA.
    
    Hate Houston -- it's ugly and George Bush lives there -- nuff said.
    
    Dallas -- the Big D -- it's ok, I miss my apt. in Arlington, but
    other than that ... no big loss

    ah yes, dallas...home of big hair and make-up you could sink a
    ship in...

    Spicewood is nice. Bee Cave is getting _way_ overpriced, especially
    considering the flood potential. Loved living on Travis, except that
    year my dock was 40 ft above the waterline. Wasn't too thrilled with
    being mistaken for a hooker in Austin [still can't imagine what
    experience-enhancing stuff that man thought I'd do with 25lbs of
    birdseed in a blue ceramic bowl, but I guess that's what I get for
    walking down 6th street alone on a Saturday night].
    
    San Antonio was something I got through. La Villita was tons of fun
    during Fiesta. Houston I needed gills to breath, but Vargo's still has
    the best dirty rice I've ever eaten.
    
    Don't miss Dallas at all, but I do miss my house near Little Elm.
    
    College Station was a hoot -- make that a "yell" -- but I don't need to
    do that. Done did my time in the Land That Time Forgot. Wouldn't trade
    it, wouldn't do it twice.

    attention cold-weather friends in the greater maynard area.  if any of
    you are experiencing a chill you just can't get rid of, stop by and
    visit ms. kelly in her mso2 office, also known as the security sauna. 
    tho she claims to very comfortable, the heat that enveloped the room
    nearly melted me.  it was a relief when it came time for her to relieve
    the lobby lady for her lunch break, as it allowed me to emerge from the
    heat of hades...
