I suppose you refer to the tune "Moscow", which was composed by Felice de
Giardini. Giardini died in Moscow; the tune is also known as "Trinity"
(the original name of "Come Thou Almighty King"), as "Italian Hymn",
(because of the nationality of Giardini), as "Bentinck", "Fairford",
"Florence", and "Hermon".

In Canada, the following hymn is more commonly associated with this tune:

Thou whose almighty word Spirit of truth and love,
Chaos and darkness heard, Life-giver from above,
And took their flight, Speed forth thy flight:
Hear us we humbly pray, Move on the waters' face,
And where the gospel ray, Bearing the lamp of grace,
Sheds not the glorious ray, And in earth's darkest place
Let there be light. Let there be light.

Thou who didst come to bring	Holy and Blessed Three,
On thy redeeming wing Glorious Trinity,
Healing and sight, Wisdom, Love, Might,
Health to the sick in mind, Boundless as ocean tide,
Sight to the inly blind, Rolling in fullest pride,
O now, to all mankind, Through the world far and wide,
Let there be light. Let there be light.

That must be it, those words flow nicely with the tune I know.

"Come Thou Almighty King" was first sung to the tune Americans call
"America" and Canadians call "National Anthem" (not to be confused
with "O Canada").

if yer spotting. Makes it less likely you'll partake of snarfs of the
non-.x00 sort donchaknow. Jest tryin' to help.
