	Hi,

	background :

	a customer is looking for a way to combine different datasources
	into a single 'logical' database.
	Datasources are Oracle Rdb databases and a non-relational datasource
	on a Unisys system. 
	For this last source customer plans to use Custom Driver gateway.
	DECmessageQ is used to exchange data from/to OpenVMS/Alpha to Unisys
	system. 
	The Cust. Driver gateway will hook into DECmessageQ records
	
	
	Questions:

	- ACMS is involved for certain type of tx's.
          This tx will be a distributed transaction. I know NREL gtwy doesn't 
	  support 2PC
	  Part of tx is Rdb, part is NREL data. Suppose Rdb part is handled 
	  in ACMS server process A en NREL part is handled in ACMS server 
	  process B.
          What will happen with NREL update when server A crashes ?  

	- any difference in behaviour when instead of Rdb tx, Distributed
          Option (DBI) is used ?

	I do have some other questions but these are related to the 
	Custom Driver NSDS programming interface so I'll enter a different
	note.
