CT would like to know if we plan to support Oracle transparent gateways
from DBI?
They use DBI (Distribution option) to provide access to all their
various databases (They use DB2 for comercial systems, Rdb7 for
production information, Oracle7 for lab systems, and have at least one
Sybase and one Informix database somewhere!). They tie all this
together via DBI. (Oracle7 distributed option does not provide all the
needed functionality.)
To reach AS/400 they have to use an Rdb TG4 Oracle7 gateway and an
Oracle TG4 AS/400 gateway.
Plans or a mail id where I can get them, would be great? Thanks.

| there are no plans to support the oracle trans gateways in any manner
other than via the rdb trans gwy to oracle.
