The kit part numbers in the base note are wrong. Here is the corrected
information:
Release : Rdb Transparent Gateways (nonrelational)

There does not appear to be a TK50 part number for dbi or the relational
gateways, nor does there appear to be a part number for any 9-track media
distribution. Steve, please correct if wrong.

What is the part no for Rdb Transparent Gateway for DB2. In need the
SERVER side kit and doubt that MVS can read a ODS2 tape or CD.
It is not in our database in Ireland.

VMS writes ANSI standard tapes. MVS can read ANSI standard tapes,
though there can be problems since (IIRC) MVS using the 1969 version of
the standard and VMS uses the 1978 version.

I have not installed a DB2 gwy in years, but at that time the Server
was on IBM-media I THINK. Are you positive that the tape mentioned in
the base not is installable on MVS ?

I know nothing about that tape. I was just pointing out that MVS
systems can read tapes written by VMS systems, most of the time,
because VMS writes tapes in ANSI standard format.

there is no separate part number for the IBM tape, and it is an IBM
loadable 6250 tape.

I'm going crazy. I have ordered the kit twice, but it does not include
any IBM-tape at all. Just VMS CDs and the 07 documentation CD.
