1096.0. "dbi eternal pak ?" by b-w005.be.oracle.com::ALLEMEERSCH (In Flanders fields ...) Fri Sep 20 1996 12:42

    Hello,

    dbi v3.1A

    My Rdb customer who is now entitled to use dbi based on his Rdb
    license and support contract, received the Oracle kit cd but has no
    pak.

    How can we obtain such a eternal pak ?

    Thanks a lot.
    _Luc

    Luc,
     i faxed you the pak. i verified that the paks are suppose to ship with
    the kits in the form of a paper, 1 sheet, pak. Could you please verify
    if the customer received the hardcopy pak. It is not on the media.

    thanks

1096.2DBI-INT vs DBI-DEV ?, no pak in shipment12293::ALLEMEERSCHIn Flanders fields ...Mon Sep 23 1996 09:3454
Thanks a lot Steve for the pak.
The customer did NOT receive any license on paper.

You faxed a DBI-INT, but I expected a DBI-DEV, is that ok ?
What's the difference anyway ?

The kit listed below only has a license command file in saveset A, but it is
an old one with an expiration date.

1096.3The pak should have been sent along with the mediaBROKE::ABUGOVMon Sep 23 1996 21:0915

    Hi Luc,

    The customer was supposed to get a paper pak, but apparently that
    didn't make it on the kit. For DBI V3.1A the only pak supported was
    DBI-INT. The DBI-DEV pak would have been accomplished by getting
    DBI-INT + the programmer 2000 tools (I'm not sure what the PAK is
    called, but it gets you the use of the module and sql precompilers).

    The PAK on the media was an oversite, and would never have gotten put
    down on your system via the installation.

    Hope this helps.

    Dan
