My fiance picked out his tux -- and we're gonna do something a bit
    different than the norm here!

My dress is ivory, so he'll have a black tux w/tails. When he tried
on the ivory shirt/vest, he was a little disappointed and said he
wanted more color. So, we've decided to put him in a vest
complimenting the bridesmaids (dresses haven't been picked out yet)
with a black Euro tie. The best man and groomsmen will wear the same
style tux without tails and wear ivory shirts, ivory vests and black
Euro ties. His father (mine is deceased) will wear the same as the
groomsmen, but with a black vest. For all the guys, we'll probably
get boutonniers matching the bridesmaids colors and for the groom, an
    all-ivory boutonnier.

We've also discovered that we're saving a few bucks here as well...the
groom's tux is free (even w/a colored vest) and, since the groomsmen
are not wearing colored vests, there's no extra charge for vests (the
    ivory ones are "free")!

Opinions? Thoughts? The fellow at the tux shop has said that he's
seen this done several times in the past year and it looks great.
Is there something I might do to tie in with the groom a little more -
ie, some flowers in my hair complimenting his vest color?

    Thanks!
