You're welcome to try the Master Document feature in Word 7.0, but I
still don't recommend it. As far as I know, there were no changes
made to that feature for Word 7.0.
The two main methods of building books are the Find File feature and
INCLUDE_TEXT fields. For more information, see the SES Template Online
User's Guide info on bookbuilding at:

856.3 | You can also keep it all in one file... | ORION::OTTE | | Mon Jan 27 1997 13:25 | 5 |
| There *is* a third way to build books in Word--keep it all in a single
file. I've built 250page books that way successfully--although I do
have 32 MB of memory in my PC...

re: Hmmm... not scaleable an option I think...
I'm building a 130 Page single document, but each page includes a lot
of 4-bit graphics and now I seem to be having problems when saving the
file. The word file seems to barf at about 32MB (size of the word doc)
The system has 128MB mem, and 750MB free drive space, and is
complaining about free space or too many open files.
Any ideas ??
