Received both discs on saturday afternoon. Always has the death metal
style vocals while the new one Mandylion has the new female singer and
she is quite good. It is different hearing them with her compared to
Always with the original singer. She sometimes reminds me a bit of
Dolores O'Reardon(sp) of The Cranberries, but without her little lilt
singing style. Anneke(sp) is much better imho to Dolores, and
surprisingly fits in well overall with the album. I'll have to spin
Always in the car so I can better concentrate on the music while on the
way in to work, and of course, bring Mandylion with me too! The music
isn't very dark compared to earlier efforts, but still somewhat moody.
Get Identity II which has the track with her singing on it to get a
feel for what she can do singing.

Anneke has a great voice and she also writes songs for the band. I
don't know their previous works but I'll prefer Anneke's voice to a
usual death metal voice in their case.
