Sister is a cool song...don't have the CD so I can't comment on the
rest of their stuff. I have a couple of friends who are big fans of
theirs, they have a pretty cool following down here...

| First of all, the Nixons are a feeble excuse for a band and that
song "Sister" is boring and lame. The first song released off their cd,
"Head", was marginally decent. They sound just like everyone else these
days - sort of like a weak Pearl Jam rip-off. If you are going to start
an entire conference about such a dull topic, you should at least learn
how to spell. Your sentences are all screwed up. Have you ever tried
English 101? Can you even read this? What's wrong with you?

It's pretty tough to learn the English language when you have a
"foreign" language as your primary means of communication. At
least the main idea was there, and it was conveyed fairly under-
standably for us to interpret it correctly.
But anyways, what's the deal with all these Pearl Jam wannabes?
Isn't 1 Pearl Jam enough? No Pearl Jams would be enough for me.
I guess I'd have to hear them to make a valued judgment, but if
what I read here is true then it sounds like a waste of time.

| Okay, okay, let's try this again. The point I was trying to make
is that the Nixons have the generic sound similar to Bush, STP, and
about a million other bands out there right now. The punk/grunge scene
is stagnating. It's time for something new. I heard a rumor that
Pantera is coming out with a new cd sometime in the near future. Anyone
else heard anything about this?

They're right, Ed ... not an attitude, just the way it is.
DIR/TITLE = PANTERA
will show you where the Pantera note is, and then you can type
REPLY
and put in whatever you want there.
Almost all the metal bands you can name have a note in here
somewhere, and can be found within 1 minute using the above
command. If you don't find a note for the band you're look-
ing for, type
WRITE
and start a new note.

| The tune "Sister" finally started getting radio play out here (Ottawa)
around a month ago, I like the tune and don't find it to be PJish
(even though I like PJ). Does anyone have the album yet...please tell
me it gets a wee bit harder too!?!?!? I haven't heard the "Head" tune
so I can't compare any further!
