Find out if they have a CD out! I'll check newbury comics maybe this

Stone CD, 20 tunes! Overall pretty darn good!

Hi Sorin,
You get this one yet? I am listening to the new Cathedral, The Carnival
Bizarre! Pretty cool disc! Unable to locate Theatre/Theater of Tragedy
at the Newbury up in Salem near my place....have to keep checking! I am
thinking about ordering some Magellan or Crimson Glory if I can through
them eventually....but I can't get Forbiddens "Twisted into Form" due
to being out of print.......too bad! Have to look and find a store with
used stuff!
Talk to ya soon!

1102.5 | Finally I listened one song .. :-) | TPLAB::VLASIU | Sorin Vlasiu - Brussels, Belgium | Tue Jul 09 1996 11:15 | 17 |
| Finally I had the occasion to listen one song from their album (named also
Thetre of Tragedy) and I was very well impressed. The song was heavy but with
a clear melodic line and employed among the usual heavy metal instruments some
woodwinds and piano. All this well combined with the charming voice of the lady
singer and completed by a rough and deep male singer voice. I will start
looking for the CD. It's on a label named Massacra.
I have listened it from a compilation CD that I have bought recently. On the
same CD there were also other bands, some of them very very close to
Queensryche in sound. Among the bands were: Veni Domine (very QR like), Scanner,
Chastain, Psyco Drama (excellent, very QR like), Pretty Maids, King Diamond etc.
A nice compilation (it's called "16 bullets in your head").
Sorin
PS. I've also listened a song from Angra (a bresilian band) on the radio.
Also very impressive (just like the reviews). In the QR class but original and
with a singer recalling the one from Vicious Rumors. Clerarly progressive metal.
The song was called "Nothing more to say" from the album "Holy Land".

1102.6 | cool! Waiting for full length release now... | SUBSYS::MSOUCY | | Wed Jul 10 1996 06:33 | 14 |

I've been to there page on the web, they've only released demos and on
the compilation(s)....I am really waiting to get a listen to this band!
I also recently got Celestial Season - Solar Lovers, heavy, atmospheric
doomish metal, deep, heavy singer, but not overbearing....I have been
trying to get my hands on Angra and to find Veni Domine...no luck yet.
I will probably have to order it when I get around to it! It seems all
the bands I want to get ahold of are not in stock.....
Good to see you finally heard them! I believe they are supposed to have
a release this year too (finally!).
