| I got a copy of Undertow from a friend awhile back and generally enjoy
it. Very angry, heavy sound. "Sober" is a good representation of what
the rest of the album is like and is currently getting a lot of
airplay since MTV's blessed it by showing the video frequently...

Prison Sex Is a Good One. I actually Heard it on the Radio the
other day, Of course it was about 4 in the Morning.
Has any one heard their first one, Opiate. I haven't had
much of a chance to listen to it, but so far it sounds like Undertow,
there is only five songs on it with one live one. So far I like it.

| Sorry, but for me, Prison Sex is a big letdown as far as a follow-up
single to Sober. It's just not as good (or listenable) imvho.

I got to see them last night at the Mammoth in Denver. The
opening band was Failure, and I was not impressed. They had a good
guitar player, but still need a sound man. The second band was Flaming
Lips, and they were better than Failure but not very tight. Tool came
out with a vengance, with good sound, stage presence, and had the crowd
going from the start. My only regret was that Tool only played for
about 50 minutes. All in all, it was worth the $17.50 for the ticket.
Next time they come around I hope they have a better opening act.

Hey Hey Jeff, I do believe I did run into you (literally) at the show.
TOOL put one Killer show, I agree they need some better opening acts.
I would have liked to see them play longer, but I don't know how huch
longer my well fed body could have lasted in the pit :-).
Vega whos shoe came untied while in the pit :-(

| Let me start by sayin' I think this group kick butt!!!
I've had the album for about 3 1/2 years and the only reason why I
don't leave it in my CD changer, is cause of the "69" track thing...
anytime I wanna hear all the disks play randomly..."Undertow" ends
up getting left out!
I thought I heard they were comin' out with an album in '96 or around
then...anyone else know anything about this?
