    Anybody remember the French band Trust ?
    
    They became quite popular over here around '80-81 when they released
    the album Repression. It was originally released in French but to
    break in the UK the band got Jimmy Pursey to translate their often
    political lyrics to English. Bon Scott was originally going to do
    this but died before he could. They toured the UK in '80-'81 supporting
    Iron Maiden when Paul Dianno was still with Maiden. A great double
    bill.    
    
    Anyways as far as I remember they released 3 albums.
    
    1. Trust
    2. Repression (English/French versions)
    3. March Ou Creve
    
    I have the above albums but want them on cd, however, I'm finding it
    impossible to get any here in the UK. They should all be available in
    France but I can't seem to get them on import. Could any of our
    French/European noters help me out on this one.  
    
    They have also released a live cd which I don't have in any format.
    I have no any details on it but would like to get a copy.
    
    Any pointers would be appreciated.

	I heard one of their albums about 5 years ago,it was the one that anti- social was originally on and it had a song about a French villian who shot some policemen.As far as I can remember,it was ok...nothing outstanding~ ian

	This year's JPC catalogue lists 4 Trust CD's: Antisocial-Fatalite; L'Elite; Ideal; Marche Ou Creve. All lyrics on these 4 are in French language. There are probably other Trust CD's obtainable in France. Rainer

	Hi there. TRUST was my favorite when I was a teenager. They were pretty strong and lyrics are catchy (not for everyone :-) Albums I have in chronological order. L'elite (Contains prefabrique which is on the HeavyMetal cartoon/movie. Also a cover of AC/DC ride on) Antisocial (with Bon Scott on the inner sleeve. Contains antisocial) Antisocial (English version - same but in english) Marche ou Creve (Do or Die) A white a red cover without title I think containing Ideal, Le pouvoir et la gloire Trust (Black and white picture of the guys very old) Then they splited. They tried a come back with a CD called "En attendant" (in the mean time) with 2 new songs a covers (Paint it Black) They also toured a bit and produce a 2xCD live called I think Paris Burning. Nothing since then. The guitarist is playing with Johnny Halliday (which is good for Johnny but not for me :-) Great band, difficult to I18Nized though :-) Hope this helps, Didier

	Nicko McBrain (of Iron Maiden) used to play drums in Trust before he jumped over to Iron Maiden.
