| Probably Heart. Oh you wanted "grunge", not "Seattle based", right?
I'd guess either Nirvana or Pearl Jam, probably the latter, but I don't
have any numbers.

| Possibly Soundgarden, since they were popular before Nirvana was born.

Soundgarden was around first, but they apparently didn't get
the exposure that Nirvana got.
I'd say Nirvana all the way.

962.4 | My best guess would be Pearl Jam, several hits | GOES11::G_HOUSE | Son of Spam | Thu Jul 22 1993 22:39 | 5 |
| I'd seriously doubt it's Soundgarden. Yeah, they were around for quite
awhile, but they didn't sell hardly any records until BadMotorFinger
and I don't think it did as well as Nevermind did for Nirvana.

Heart must be number 1.
#2 Not Pearl Jam, or Soundgarden, or Nirvana
It must be Queensryche!!!

| Actually, I would say the #1 selling artist from Seattle is Jimi Hendrix....
