I bought their latest CD last weekend. Its called "Somewhere Between
Heaven & Hell". The song Bad Luck is on it. Very different style, for
the last couple of days I've been trying to figure out what it reminds
me of. The only thing I can come up with is country metal? Someone told
me they had seen an interview with one of them on MTV and he was saying
that country had a great influence on their music. I like their sound,
very raw and dirty but they make it work well. Sometimes they remind me
of Georgia Satellites, but much heavier. Definately worth a listen. I
kinda like some of the songs alot.

| Social Distortion isn't a "new" band, but maybe new for all you heavy
metaler's - I believe this is their 4th album (at least)

think that it's great that bands are leaning more towards this new
sound - Soundgarden/Pearl Jam/Mr. Big/B.A.D. II (Big Audio Dynamite II)
that mixes cutting edge funk and thrashing metal all rolled into one.
Of course I couldn't live without my Dire Straits or Tesla but SD
is fun - I have 2 of their CD's
