Genocide, the other band that came down and played, was great. Good
originals and very personable people. We'll be doing shows with them
in the future.

Yeah I met Tim Mckeon (singer) and Richie (guitarist) over the summer.
Went to see 'em a few times in their former band Sentinal.
Cool guys to hang with.

Hmm.. don't have too much info but...
I first saw Genocide at a keg party last summer. I thought they were
really great! Since then the lineup has changed and the only original
player is John Lamont (bass).. from what I understand he has written
most of the songs himself.
This band plays mostly originals and a few covers for fun.
The first song they played was "______ Mosh".. I think the second song
was called "Pressure".. then the assh(le song.. then Excorcist, then
George the Iguana..

| I agree with what Pete has said...they are all nice and cordial guys.
The guitar player seemed a tad distant, but maybe that was one of those
guitarist-to-guitarist thangs...who knows?!
The singer wears his Jaymz Hetfield influence on his sleeve well. He's
also a very cool $#!t to hang with.

| Funny you should mention the bassist wrote a lot of Genocide's tunz.
That was one aspect I picked up on about Genocide and their
similarities to Mystic...a very good bassist, who had a strong presence
in the material. Not your a-typical rock bassist who plays eighth
notes ala Judas, but a more modern player ala Nirvana, etc., who plays
more lines with the drums.
The bass player for Genocide has good chops, and does decent backing
vocals. He sounded great thru Steve's Marshall stack, too.

I want them to do the Stadium Club show with us. It'll be a good bill,
plus we're gonna be getting big time exposure at that show.

I remember Tim played the bass for Sentinal. He's pretty good, I've
seen him play For Whom The Bell Tolls. and a bunch of other sh*t.
I agree. he's cool as sh*t. I had a ball over the summer helpin'
download his equipment after a show. the guy's a riot.
