A friend of mine used to go and hear them all the time in clubs...

From what I've heard about this band,its 2 members from the Racer X
line up;Bruce Brioullet(sp) and John Alderete.I don't know who the
other 2 dudes are but all in all the single "man in the moon" is "ok",
nothing spectacular.

Couple good songs but for the most part boring.

| I read someting about Bruce Buillet, Ex guitarist for Racer X, in a
guitar rag mag. he talked about The Scream, and what it is all about.
Fwiw, he looks like a cross between Slash (head 2 toe black leather,
with gibson les paul guitar) and Axl (long reddish brown hair, tied in
bandana). He says the music sounds more like Led Zeppelin than Racer X.
Hmm, sounds like Bruce is trying to jump on the GnR bandwagon!!

| Buck....Nothing could be farther from the truth. The SCREAM is NOTHING
like G&R.(Or Zeppelin for that matter) What's funny is at the show all
the local shredders showed up to see his licks.....He didn't play one
fast lick. I love it. I like fast solos but I HATE shredder attitude!
The singer is a Steven Tyler wanna be though....

He NEVER even looked CLOSE to that!! I mean, c'mon, I've been
around long enough to know JUMPING ON THE BAND WAGON when I see
it. I mean, it's not that he's dresed in black leather, but its
the exact same FASHION that Slash wears (like the shopped at the same
fackin store!!)...same everything! And, since when did HE ever play a
Les Paul through a Marshall?!?!? Bruce was always Mr. Ibanez-thru-

Slash is one of the worsed guitarist I've ever heard.
I also think that he changed his image because neon spandex and
neon guitars are OUT.....Plus he in a different band with a whole
different style.

| I've heard one song by these guys on the radio and was surprised to
hear that it was Boulette's(sp) new band. Totally nontechnical on the
guitar side, but the tune was pretty catchy, in a very commercial sort
of way.
I hate the band name, doesn't sound like what you'd expect for a
commercial rock band.

I've got this album, and also being a Racer X and Mr. Big fan, i like
it a lot. I mean alot.... I listened to it nonstop for the first two
weeks i had it. Just listening to the music is great, great lyrics and
music but i can see being put off them because they act and look like
every other Gn'R band. A good album though! and i'd go and see them
live.

I heard it on the way home last night. The lyrics are ok, but the music is
pretty lame. Its totally by-the-book songwriting and production, and reminds
a wicked lot of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", right down to the guitar solo.
No originality whatsoever - AcK!
(IMO, a MUCH better song about the same subject is "Fly High Michelle" by
Enuff Z' Nuff.)
