New York's BRUTAL TRUTH, featuring NUCLEAR ASSAULT's Dan Lilker on bass/vocals, has finally released a demo. The tape starts off with the title track and is's just too frantic and noisy for me. "Stench Of Profit" is a little better, it has fast grind and slower heavy parts and much better vocals. (Drummer Scott Lewis handles the vocals on track 1). The other two tracks are nothing special either. Just fast, out of control, underproduced death metal/death/ grind. It seems like Brutal Truth are trying to play what they feel NAPALM DEATH should've played after Mentally Murdered. The lyrics are about corrupt, money hungry corporations and politicians etc. and the cover of the demo is NAPALM DEATH all the way! I think Combat will be releasing their bebut, probably because they know it will sell due to Dan Lilker's involvement. I don't think they should sign to a huge label like Combat, or even a small label just yet. -Dle ! ! -+- !

-They are good band, I am not into their music, but I went to
see live couple times. Actually, I just talked to my friend
Paul (bassplayer for Conjuration). He told me that one of
the guitarist from Forbidden now in his band. I am not sure
who though? Probably Greg I think. Because during time I
was over Paul's house for a month. Matt and Greg, both of
them pretty much come over every other day for hang out and
drink....
