	   - This is probably one of the best Christian band signings R/C 
	has made since OBITUARY.... at least in the too three!  BELIVER 
	play a furious style of thrash.  Verging on death metal at times.  
	With a very original sound.  This is the bands follow up to the 
	godly (literally) debut on REX records Extraction Fromm Mortality.  
	If you liked that record (or couldn't find it for the life of you) 
	you should be happy with Sanity.  You might have heard that the 
	band is a Christian metal outfit but don't let that fool you non 
	religious readers.  The music is what counts plus the messages are 
	interesting, not preachy and not wimpy at all.  To sum up, this a 
	fast paced scorcher with interesting riffs, original vocals, and 
	an overall unique sound.  For those of you who gave up on thrash, 
	this should do the trick.  BELIEVER are in a class by themselves!!

	I have my doubts, but will check them out. I've never heard of that label either. Strange seeing your sign and p_n associated with a "christian" band.

	Tle, I have another band you might want to check out. They're called Deitiphobia (formerly known as Donderfliegen) and are from Austin, TX. Their debut album "The Fear of God" is out on Blonde Vinyl Records. They make use of that trendy European thing in adding distortion to their vocals. Vengeance Rising does it too, but they sound closer to Metallica. Mike

King Crimson did it back in '68. Ever hear "21st Century Scizoid Man"? BTW, it's not as easy as you might think getting a good distortion sound on vocals. I actually experimented with running them through several stomp box distortions I had a few years back and found nothing that worked well. Seems like you have to saturate some audio componant or tape to really get something wild like King Crimson did. gh

King Crimson did it back in '68. Ever hear � "21st Century Scizoid Man"? As you can see above, I didn't say it was new, just a current fad in certain circles. Did you try it with your SGE? Sounds like it would have to be a very low level type distortion. Some of the lyrics are barely audible though. Mike

	The moment you've all been waiting for... Another Christian Death Metal band! The band is called Mortification, and are reported to be very similar to Morbid Angel and Sodom. They only have 1 album out and its called "Mortification".
