Artillery is a Sweedish band existing since few years. They started as
quite thrashy but the new album, "By inheritance" is much more speed
metal than thrash.
I listened BI because I've seen a critic comparing their music to
Annihilator's AiH. Artillery is quite good but not at Annihilator's
level (nor as violent or thrashy as AiH). The instrumentals are the
best part while the voice is OK.
Also important to note, BI is produced by Fleming Rasmussen (of
Metallica fame).
It deserves a listening.

I've read quite a lot of reports about their music,all were good.At one
point one of their albums was in a Kerrang top 20 thrash albums of all
time(this was about 2 years ago).Have they ever toured outside Sweden?

I`ve got the 2nd album they did called,er,um,i can`t remember. The
first one i think was called Fear Of Tomorrow. The album i`ve got is
very good,(or was at the time).
They`re a Danish band i think. Though they`re not as good as the
mighty Evil,who did an absolutely incredible 12" single back in
about 1984.
