| I am tired of all the rappers rippin' off AC/DC and Aerosmith!
They couldn't come up with anything themselves, so why not rip off the
two greatest H_M bands of all times...

I don't like the idea of rap and H_M mixing together, it doesn't seem
to work. Take Faith No More for example 8)
It's a good idea in that each style of music gets exposure to each type
of fan ie rap to H_M fans and vice verse, but it kinda ruins the music
when you have a fairly heavy musical background and someone trying to
rap to it. What'll it be next? M.C. Hammer and Napalm Death 8)
Anyway that's just my opinion.

MY band 'chuck wagon'puts rap and metal together but we do no{wok

772.7 | ARE YOU GUYS FOR REAL??? | NETRIX::"MKOTS3::[email protected]" | THE EARTH VERSES ME | Tue Aug 20 1996 09:28 | 11 |
| RAGE, POWERMAN 5000, TOOL, UHH NEED I SAY MORE??
Nowadays Its hard to be original, so much has been done. music
is music, one person may want to portray a certain type of emotion
or message. As long as he/she isn't all cracked up on drugs there
is usually a emotion that can be pulled from any music. IMO I think
what you refer to as a "fusion of H_M and Rap" is exactly what the
music industry needs. I'm sick of people being spoon fed top 40
bands that have *NO* talent. Its time for new stuff not the same old
circle of fifths bull@#$? (anyone know anything about music??)
IMO ROCK ON! just be yourself and play through your soul not drugs n' money. Make any sence to anyone? Chris =)

| Damn straight! Abso-freakin-lutely!
Lets face the other way and do circle of fourths instead. Or, better
yet, remove the trash vocals that exist in most H_M and "Rap" muzak.
Then we might start getting some real music. I have grown very tired of
primal screams and tribal chants being passed off as singing, and
having to listen through them to find the music.
