| It`s the only babd my band can play? Pardon?
I like the Misfits,got a couple of albums and an early demo tape. Best
thing about it is the vocals and lyrics.
It made me laugh though that in this country,(England),they only got
popular after James Hetfield,Cliff Burton et al started wearing the
t-shirts. It was the same with Faith No More.
Joe Strummer.

The Misfits were known in the UK from very early on - but, even now, I
wouldn't call them popular.
As for FNM, they only became popular when Mike Patton joined the
group and other bands talked highly of them...but that was still a long
time before they made it big in the USA.

558.4 | Danzig,Samhain and Misfits | COMET::JENSENT | | Thu Jul 30 1992 23:38 | 10 |
| There are some real cool songs on SAMHAIN'S FINAL DESCENT cd. Glenn
Danzig's art work on the MISFIT evil skull is excellent and PUSHEAD'S
art work on Misfits album covers and T shirts is un-equalled by anyone
except for maybe Derek Riggs who draws the Iron Maiden art work.
Not necessarily the biggest Misfits fan in the world.
