| If this is the same Escape Club that I know - they've been going for a
few years in the UK. Did a few support tours, released a couple of
albums but didn't get anywhere. They decided to go to the USA and
record their 3rd album which is due out shortly I think.
I wouldn't call their music heavy (unless they changed their style a
lot!!) but definitely more rock then pop.
If anyone knows more about them, please post a note 'cos I'd love to
know how they're doin'.

Um, re: Wild Wild West
Let's see... Kool Mo D did the first WWW (or however he spells his
name) then there was the one about 'dance to the beat that we like
best, living for the something, living for the wild wild west'
is that the one? escape club rings a bell..
sorry you're disappointed pril, but thats the type of music i listen to
most :'). the song was really cool, and it was much heavier than alot
of the other metal stuff in here. I'll have to hear it again when im a
bit more sober :')

The Escape Club is cool. They do have a funky-metalish sound to them.
I've got the album with Wild, Wild West at home, plus I have a tape
lying around of some of their earlier stuff (it's probably with that
Pere Ubu album that I was hunting for the other night!)
When I go dancing, I like something funky but different that I can
dance to.......they fit the bill....I didn't know they had anything new
out,though! I'll check it out!

Not the one by Kool Moe D but the other one you mentioned....
Dezyne used to play it so I'm pretty sure it's by The Escape Club.

I heard "You Call It Poison" during the MTV "Beach Bash" or
WhateverTF it was ... good song. I liked "Wild Wild West",
but this one's much more rock oriented.

Hey GTI, do you know if that's a single or not? I heard from the
record company over here in the UK they were due to release an album
soon but haven't heard of anything :-(
