I saw them once. Very poseurish. Their execution is good, but the songs

Re 1.
They're all from Worcester/Auburn I believe.. they've
been around for.. hmmm.. geessh.. I'd say close to 2
years.. (the singer to the band I was in 2 years ago
left the band to be the bassist for Roxxi)..
They are currently signed under Rockhard Records from
Worcester and also have just finished a vid. that will
be on Headbangers ball in Jan. (I think)

| As a follow-up... I saw these guys Sat. Nite at the Cove...
They were really good IMO and with the right promotion could actually
be the first big named band to come from Worcester. Their execution and
stage presence was in top condition. It was their record release party
and everyone recieved a sampler cassette.. Two songs by Roxxi are on
the cassette along with two from a band called Barracuda and two from
a band called Tattoo. Roxxi should be getting some airplay real soon
and their Video to "Drive at Ya Hard" will be played on MTV in two
weeks. No news on whether they are playing out anywhere soon....
The band Touch To Much opened for Roxxi Sat. nite. They are an AC/DC
cover band and played real well. Sounded exactly like the records...

A few days ago I picked up Roxxi's CD Drive It To Ya Hard!
As a matter of fact I am listening to it right now. If you
my opinion (which no one probably does, but here goes anyway)
I like it. The first time I heard it I thought it was o.k., but
the more I listened the more I liked it. They are as other people
have said, out of Mass. I think that the CD is worth picking
up if any of you were thinking about it. Has anyone else (besides
the replies I already read) seen them in concert? How are they?
Does anyone know when they are playing the Mass. area next???

| Where did you pick that CD up??? I have been looking for it the last
month or so... I've seen these guys and think that they are very solid
in concert. I'm hoping to see these guys again real soon.
BTW the band is based out of Worcester/Auburn.

Too bad their song writing is garbage. I saw them live at Sir Morgans.
All show, no go. And they told me that they were signed to an Indie
label, not a major label unless things have changed since I talked
to 'em.

I was also looking for the CD in a bunch of different music stores.
I finally found it in the first place I had looked (they were out
of it the first time around). I picked it up at Coconuts on
route 9 in Framingham/Natick Mass. There were only two Cd's and
I got one so if you want the last one you better hurry. They
have quite a few tapes of the release left. The CD and Tape
are not located in the 'rock' section they are in the 'Heavy Metal'
section.

band.. and then the bassist and the guitarist formed one
also... then I heard they fought over who was going to
keep the name...
I heard the singer and the drummer got it..
and the bassist and the guitarist are now using.. uh....
I think its 'Lucky Stiff' or something like that!

I love the whole CD 'Drive it to Ya Hard.' I am still listening
to it off and on. Please let me know anything about concert
dates, the new release, or anything else you can tell me...

I can't wait.... Is it out yet? Has it been released?
I hope it is out or comes out soon.... Also do you
have any info on 'Lucky Stiffs'....
It is funny.... About 5 days after I started liking Roxxi
they broke up... I never got to see them live... I hope
I can sometime soon...

| ..Roxxi report......Roxxi has changed their name to "Suicide Squeeze"
and will be playing at Sir Morgan's Cove on May 15th...(i think..call
to make sure)......they have a new drummer too........they changed their
name because the name Roxxi seems to have only caused them alot of
grief so they decided to get a way from a "bad vibe" name and go with
something new................ /k
