Maybe there is already a topic on this (so this may be moved to it).
In "Metal Hammer" they started to publish a HM encyclopedia. I missed
the first number and only got the second (there will be 13 with a total
of over 400 pages). It's interesting but they have some missings (no
Coroner at letter C ???). I'll try to get the first number also or to
have a copy. Do you know other HM encyclopedias ? I have also (since
3 years ago) a rock encyclopedia (british) but it lacks very much on
the new bands and, top of the horror .. they don't mention Scorpions
nor Accept. The one started in MH is only HM (or related) oriented.

I've got a brilliant one 'The encyclop... of Hard rock & heavy metal'
It features every band I've ever heard of (plus a lot of the up and
coming bands).
The problem is it's about 4 years old now, and is a tad out of date.

(-1: there was another book, which this on is the update to - this has Iron
