180.0. "Deathrow" by KETJE::VLASIU () Thu Sep 13 1990 06:11
I just listened "Deception ignored" from this 4 men German band (the
bass player is also singer). It's their 3rd album as I understood and
also their best effort. The music is, as critics said, techno-thrash.
The voice is good and the instrumentals also. The compositions are not
very equal, the best songs beeing those with more instrumentals. Three
of the 8 songs (also the best ones) are 7,8 respectively 9 mins.
It's an album to be enjoyed by the amateurs of more technical thrash.
The problem is that I listened them after Forbidden's last album which
set the standards much higher (Forbidden is faster, much better in
composing and with an extraordinary singer).

There's a couple songs by these guys on "Doomsday News", a
2-part tape set with various bands on it.
See note 366.last for a complete listing.
