72.0. "Taffola, Joey" by CSC32::H_SO (I'm reliable: Made in Korea) Fri Aug 03 1990 00:41

Was going thru my CD's the other day, and found "Out Of The Sun".
I put it in, and remembered how much I liked the album.

Although he sounds a little neo-classical, I really do like the
stuff, as well as Vinnie's Moore's material.

Some background: Joey's from Colorado Springs. He used to play
with the local band Jag Panzer. Wolly Voss plays bass(there's some
awesome bass playing on the album), Tony McAlpine plays keys,
and I can't remember who plays drums.

Hey, Jesse! You said you met this guy, didn't you?

72.1I'd like to hear that one sometime, J.COOKIE::G_HOUSEGive a littleFri Aug 03 1990 12:296
The guy I used to take guitar lessons from took guitar lessons from
Taffola, before he moved off to LA to hit the big time. Seems like
he's doing pretty well for himself, looks like it was a pretty good
    move for him.

Greg, if you want it, get me a 90 min tape and I could get
Guitar's Practicing Musicians on one side and Joey T on the
other. I don't think you'll be disappointed. It is pretty
    heavy!

Yo J. I met Joey at a party when he was still in Jag Panzer. We even
got to the point where he had offered to play at our school auditorium,
but the principal wouldn't go fer it. I've seem him live a zillion
times cuz Jag Panzer was always playing at DJ's. I think I still got
    Panzer tapes somewhere.

p.s. re -1. I think that was mighty gutless of you J. to give up a
notes handle just cuz Motorbreath doesn't think it was origional
enough. I wish I'd have been there to flame you.
