| I've heard part of the CD single that just came out. Ian Gers (new guitarist of
Maiden) is the producer of it.
The CD single contains :
Tattoed Millionaire
Ballad of Mute
Winds of Change
I had a chance to listen to "Winds of change" and I was surprised. It's a
real blues song, with only voice and accoustic guitar. I couln't recognize
Bruce in it. Really amazing.

Anyone heard Dickinsons rendition of the old Mott single 'All the Young
Dudes'? I believe there is also a video.
Don't know why he felt compelled to cut this number, its hardly HM but
it sounds ok.

It sounds the same as the original...yes, this fossill remembers
the original. Janick Gers on guitar is the best thing about it.
The video is entirely full of BD pulling his (so-called) mean HM
faces.
Incidentally, did you know that tickets for BD's solo tour are NOT
selling - they'll probably be giving them away on the door.

For those interested, Bruce Dickinson is supposed to be
playing in Boston on July 24. I don't know where. I
saw the date in RIP Magazine in an ad for his new solo
effort.

Has anyone read his book yet?
It has just been released on paper back here, so I bought it.
IT IS TREMENDOUSLY FUNNY!!!!
(And that's just the first two chapters!!)
For anyone who dosen't know the name of it, it is:-
The Adventures of Lord Iffy Boatrace.
There's a mention of EddiE, Harry Harris (Steve Harris) and
himself in Iron Maiden.
I would strongly advise anyone to buy it.

I saw this Bruce's record in shop, but I was not sure if it's worth
buying. After reading these comments I would like to buy it. Sounds
good. He has shown talents of singing in Iron Maiden so why not alone.

I just got the tape. I think its real good. the cover of All the
young dudes is excellent. The 1st side is GREAT. The second side
had a couple tunes that were just OK and the others were good.

| HEY KIDS,
I heard that bruce wrote the song "tattooed millionaire"
as kind of slam on NIKKI SIXX and TOMMY LEE of the CRUE.
Would anyone else have any imformation on this?
Personally, I don't care for the album as much as Iron
Maiden. I'm glad MAIDEN wouldn't let him do this stuff!
Here in the COLORADO area they had to almost give away
the MAIDEN tickets for twelve bucks a pop! The show was
great anyway but the metal gods are not the staple they
use to be in the metal book! I hope they can pull it
together and get the personalality back in the band and
the albums!

It figures - if you see the TM video, the guy in it playing the 'rock
star' looks like a Crue outcast.

When I got my autographed Bruce Dickinson photo for my wedding present
he sent along a promo-cd too.
I went to play it and it was all Queen! Opps!
I'm going to pick it up this weekend. I really like it alot better
than his last solo effort.
