Yup I was there too, but I was batling right at the front (Keef you're a
lightweight ;-) An excellent concert, good value for money. Although it didn't
get as hot as it usually does (thank god).
A definite 'must see' band.

I've not seen thier stage, but have thier album. Sorry, forget about
the title. The first song of this album starting with "Tonite, tonite I
feel just fine. Out on the streets.....". I like this slow rock'n roll.
What about other albums?

That's the 'Open All Night' album, their second of three albums. Actually,
this is my least favorite of the bunch. The first is more raw and loud, and
just cracks a bit more. The third, "In The Land Of Salvation and Sin", is
their best so far, very versatile while still packing a punch. It was my
favorite album released last year!
I highly recommend you pick these up if you find them - I gurantee you'll
like them!

| Check out also Dan Baird's solo album, "Love Songs for the
Hearing Impaired." It has the better-known "I Love You
Period" and a lot of other songs that really kick.
The thing I find interesting about this album is that it
sounds like the whole thing was taped in one take. There is
never really complete silence between the tracks. The ending
of one song goes into a long slide guitar note and when it
comes back out they go right into the next song. Fun stuff!

"I Love You Period" is one of the stupidest songs I've ever
heard.

| Yeah, huh huh, that was cool!
A friend of mine used to sing: I love your period, until I pointed out
to him what he was really singing. We both laughed.
My mother is great at screwing up lyrics too. She usually sings:
'Wild thing, I think you love me.'
Or how about the Fonz from Happy Days (remember?):
'Well, since I left my baby....'
Marcel.
P.S. I'm dutch, not that you think I hang out with stupid people.
