This one is for the band named Virgin Steele. I just bought a 1988 CD named "Age of Consent". Aparently this group exists since 1982 and had initially as singer Jack Starr which is doing now a solo career. On "Age of Consent" they have another singer and the CD is ok. They play with a style closer to ManOwar to have some comparison. The tracks have also titles like "The Burning of Rome", "Tragedy" etc. I started to like the CD after a second listening and actually I quite like it even if it is not of my favourites. It's good for a change of style and it's quite easy listening (but they play heavy). I bought all my last 4 CDs in my favourite shop where they were reducing stocks and they still have CDs from Omen, Last Crack, Wrathchild (UK & US), Drive, King Cobra (III), last Raven's and other bands I don't know. Maybe I miss some good CDs. Sorin

What country are they from, and are they getting airplay elsewhere? Of course, that's a hard question for you to answer. [I love REPLY/LAST. 8^)] GTI

There is also poor information like for Hitt Man (special price editions ??). I think they are surely US. Sorin

367.4 | They are canadians | KETJE::VLASIU | Mon Mar 26 1990 03:17 | 7
I checked again the poor information on the leaflet and CD and it seems they are canadians (at least recorded in Canada). After more listening they are still ok with favourite songs beeing "Tragedy", "The burning of Rome", "Stay on top", "We are immortal". The singer has a quite particular voice, they are four and they use also keyboards (synth). Sorin |
