		            SCATTERED SUBJECTS

	The members are:

Bass/Vocals - Mark McMakin, promoting his solo EP, "What A
			      Way To Go."
Drums/Vocals - Steve Whitby (aka. "Hollywood"), formerly
with Just Us, 2EZ, and the Moon City Cats.
Guitar/Vocals - Jerry White (aka. "Scary"), formerly with
			      2EZ and Shattered Dreamz.

The format consists of a little bit of everything from Classic
Rock, Top 40, Beach, Country (very little ...), and several
original tunes with many more on the way.

The band's main appeal (so far ..) is taking requests. Hopefully

Just wanted to let you all know that I've been listening to a bootleg
tape of Scattered Subjects (Thanks Jerry!) and they have a really good
    sound!

The material is pretty much your standard "classic rock" fare with a
few originals in the "country rock" kind of vein. There's lots of
subtle little flairs in it that keep it interesting. This is a raw
recording, complete with the clink of bottles and billiard balls, hoots
and hollers and everything! The quality is actually surprising, since
I understand it was recorded with your standard boom box.

The acoustic originals were nice, but a little light for my tastes,
while the electric originals I really enjoyed. I think they should
have been distributed into the other sets rather then having them all
    together. (Just a thought...)

Jerry (aka "Scary") was kicking them out that night and held no
prisoners. I really enjoyed all the little fills he throws in. That
seems fairly unusual to hear someone do that in a three piece band
without things sounding too thin, but he pulls it off quite nicely. Our
own Steve Whitby was pounding 'em right in there too.

Overall quite an enjoyable pair of tapes to listen to!

Thanks dude ! We considered not doing the acoustic set this past
Saturday, but Mark like's to do it to promote his demo, and I can't
really blame him. Little by little I'd like to see us pick up the
acoustic tunes as a band and eventually drop the "lounge" segment. It
sorta throws the momentum of the evening of when you end trhe 2nd set
blistering and then start #3 with the solo bit. We'll see ...
