I have a 220VOLT's album called "EYE TO EYE" that was produced, mixed and engineered by Max Norman. Their songs are pretty good. Bass sound is quite clearly and sharply. It's beautiful sound that was recorded by Max Norman, isn't it ? I have a few information about them. That are : They are swedish band. They are five men band. They released four albums. Any other info ? Kazunari.

Yes, 220VOLT are a swedish five man combo. Pretty lame in my opinion. The have been around since the early 80's and done quite a few tours round Sweden and other parts of Europe (the continent, not the band!). I haven't heard any of their albums but seen them live on the telly. A few singles have been minor chart hits in Sweden. The were orininally part of a "movement" of young H-M bands that emerged and got recording deals here in Sweden just after Europe (not again!) hit it big. All in all they are pretty typical of most Swedish H-M bands. Technically very good but lacking in b*lls! Check out Candlemass and Midas Touch instead! /Tom S | |||||

I have an album by them called "Electric Messenger" wich wasn't to bad if I remember it correctly, there were some pretty kickin tunes on it, but I'll listen to it again and tell ya what I think. M B |
