		I'm looking to do a DEC metal noters bash sometime in late July
	(after my wedding). I'd like at least two other DEC metal noters bands
	to do it with us. The place is up for grabs but I have free reign at
	Rythyms in Clinton (i.e. FREE and we'd all make $$$$) or we can rent
	a place. I might be able to persaude American Lobster in Marlboro also.

    	least close to it?  I have a 1:00 meeting here at MRO that I
    	have to come back for, and 12-12:30 is a very short lunch.
    
    	But if that doesn't work too well maybe we can postpone it for

    Well just back from Dr...and the verdict is in ... bronchitus it is!
    Nothing a little rest, a lot of fluid and these great new drugs won't
    cure!
    
    And GTI is correct, I'm leaving Thursday after work and will be out all
    next week on a wild roadtrip across America's Heartland!   So....lunch
    without me if it works out....I'm sure Whit can get another ride...heck
    with that hair he can just throw on a dress and hitchhike! :^)
    
    Otherwise I'll be back into the office Monday, June 17th and any day
    that week looks ok for lunch for me as of now.

    They're a relatively small airline that's been operating for more than
    a year now based out of ColoSprgs.  They specialize in discount rates,
    and it has been the cheapest flight in/out of Colorado.

    We did the mystery flight last year. Here's the deal: You pay $60,
    round trip, and they fly you to any of their destinations. The catch is
    they don't tell you where you're flying until you check your luggage
    in.  We got picked to go to San Fran, and we had a excellent time.The
    downside?  I heard there were some mad people who got stuck going to
    Wichita, KS (I've been to Wichita-I can sympathize).

    DYLIW clueless people send party announcements only one week prior
    to a party they're throwing -- which falls right in the middle of 
    a MAJOR U.S. holiday weekend (Labor Day)!!!

Maybe they figured if they waited long enough you wouldn't be able to make it...

It's like a drive through except you're in...

The Burlington (Vt) drivein was about 1 mile from my house.  My friends and I
used to get a "complimentary" case of beer from the local restaurant we worked
at.  Then we'd take the beer out, put a garbage bag in the case fill with ice
and make a cooler.

Then we'd go and watch movies on Saturday night.  I remember one double bill

Or Bobby Joe and the Outlaw featuring Marjoe Gortner and Linda Carter.  That
movie showed all of Linda's, ah, um, acting capablities... oo errr.

One time they were showing a typical T&A slash film (Watch Joe Bob Brigg's
DriveIn Theater sometime) and they showed one reel out of order.  We were kind
of toasted but knew something was up because someone got killed then later they
weren't dead anymore...

Ah, the days.  I never went to the Drive in with a girl.  I guess I missed out
on that aspect of the fun.
