Hello, Has anyone heard about Hellion ? I've listened their CD from one year ago and I've been very impressed by their female vocalist and their guitar work. The lady who sings has one of the best heavy metal voices (some female voice equivalent of Udo's from Accept). The album I've heard was named "Bad attitude" if I remember well and is the heaviest I heard with a female vocalist. Regards, Sorin

"The black book" is the new Hellion album and it stands as a concept album. Ann Boleyn has still that unique voice and the instrumentals (especially guitar) are first class. It includes at the end a good cover of Zeppelin's "Immigrant song". The album is very well balanced and easy to enjoy. Good Iron Maiden influence and overall I prefer from (very) far Hellion and Ann Boleyn to Doro and Warlock. Recommended. Sorin | |||||

I've only ever heard one song from them and it was pretty bad. Can't remember the title but I remember thinking it was quite predictable. Staynz |
