| Come on gang, I know this ain't the greatest band in the world

Poseur - a trade off between talent and looks. Pretty boys. Bands
that have the sole intent of selling records to teenage girls
blossoming into women. Examples: BonJovi, Poison, Winger, Whitesnake,
and the like. Often good musicians are buried under all the glitter
and styling gel. Examples: Richie Sambora, Vivian Campell, Rudy
Sarzo, Lemmy (whoops, how the h*ll did that get in there ...)

| Well I guess I'll have to listen to all the lyrics again and
see if Smashed Gladys fits the discription. But I'm pretty sure
that they don't. I'll admit that some it is kinda mainstreamis,
like seventeen going on crazy. But the music itself seems to be
sincere Rock&Roll. Maybe I'll listen to them one time sober.

I heard of them a looong time ago. My ex-SO got the promo copy of their
debut album. It was average IMHO.
