| Greg, I like the Godfathers a *LOT* especially "Birth, School, Work,
Death" and a tune called "If I Only Had Time". They have a real
"raw", high-energy-type sound -- it's real, not over-produced.
I don't have the album either, but have heard those two tunes since
the early spring.

I know it's been a while since you wrote this but you wanted info.
and i've just seen the note so here it is, I think the Godfathers
are a great British rock band ( not Heavy Metal !!! ), there songs
are very are up front and there image is cool ( gangster suits,
etc, ). I've heard in several reviews that they fire blank bullets
into the crowd with machine guns ( strange !!! ) , I have two of
there albums : "Birth, School, Work, Death" and "Hit by Hit", "Birth,
etc," is my favorite but "hit by hit" has two very cool songs on
it :"damn nation" and "i want everything". I have'nt seen them live
but would like to, the only thing is I think one of there guitarist
has just left so I'm not sure how that'll leave the band. Anyway
I've heard there working on a fourth album and am looking forward
to hearing it. Hope this has help make your mind up to buy one of
there albums and become a fan ( like Jon Bon Jovi ).

| I have "Birth, School, Work, Death" and think it's great! Definately
not metal, but these guys have an excellent alternative rock sound.
I highly recommend it for those who like music other then just metal.
