I was listening to WHEB (in Portsmouth, NH) last night and they were
playing one of those syndicated live concert series (ie. King Biscuit,
DIR Broadcasting, Superstar in Concert, BBC, etc - I'm not sure which
it was). Anyways, I also was not able to figure out who it was, but 
there was some pretty hot guitar playing going on. No vocals, and it
sounded like the band consisted of a drummer, bassist, keyboardist,
and the guitarist. I am trying to find out who it was and if anybody
taped this show. Can anybody help?

I have spent about half the day on hold to WHEB (603-431-4854) and
still can't get through to ask them. It was on about 7:30 pm.

Anybody have any ideas?

P.S. The style was in the Joe Satriani vein - lots of harmonics and 
     whammy bar, along with some nice taste, and some speed too. Whoever
     it was (maybe it was Joe) impressed me a lot.

P.P.S. The crowd sounded like it was a club gig, not a large concert.

    That probably WAS Joe!  I heard on one of the Denver stations Sat
    that King Bisquit for the following night was Satriani.  It made
    me drool as none of the local stations (to my knowledge) carry that
    particular syndication.

THEN WHO HAS THIS TAPE?!?!?!

I'm sure that someone must know someone who taped it, and I'm sure many of 
us (Buck, Cooper, etc.) would love a copy. (If I get copy, I can make
copies for everyone else.)

Just going through, cleaning up old notes, etc., and found this one.

I'll ask this again - does anyone have a tape of this show? (Its Satch live
on the King Biscuit Flower Hour)?
