| Cinderfella's new tune on eMpTyV "Gypsy Road" sound a lot like Shake
Me which is good to me. A lot of bands have a hit album, and want
to get "creative" on the next one and make a mess. I liked Night
Songs and hopefully this one will carry on where that one left off.
Did anyone notice if they did any guitar tosses on the new video?
I didn't see any make-up on Mr Kiefer either ... is there a change

I think that somehwere amongst the 80 odd replies of the

was losing their make up look.
They got the attention they asked for and now I think
they're concentrating more on their music than their

Haven't really noticed any guitar tosses in their video,

Hi there,
I have just recorded 'Long Cold Winter' and it is certainly
in a different vain from 'Night Songs'.
It is certainly very bluesy and lacks the immediate punch
of 'Night Songs' but is nonetheless already sounding good on my
stereo after a couple of plays, although apart from 'Gypsy Road'
and 'Fallin' Apart At The Seams' i didn't know what to make of it
after the first time round. Some of it is very Aerosmithy. The
title track 'Long Cold Winter' is about as bluesy a track as i have
heard for a long time.
Here is the track listing :-
Side 1 : Bad Seamstress Blues
Fallin' Apart At The Seams
Gypsy Road
Don't Know What You Got
(til it's Gone)
The Last Mile
Second Wind
Side 2 : Long Cold Winter
If You Don't Like It
Coming Home
Fire & Ice
Take Me Back
Although i havent really got into most of it yet, and as much
as i enjoyed both 'Night Songs' the album and the video, i don't
think that 'Long Cold Winter' will be as successfull ( but this
is only on first impressions).

Cinderella's new opus is brilliant, i reckon certain press and
otheres that have slagged it off will be eating their words in the
near future. It takes a couple of plays but is certainly very classy
and well structured. Yes Tom Keifer's voice sounds a little strained
but you don't really notice it. It certainly doesn't spoil the album
at all. There isn't a bad track on the album.

Yea, I was at the Centrum Tuesday night too - EXCELLENT show!
From a non Cinderella fanatic - I was not impressed with them at
all.
I do like a *few* of their songs but when I saw the show - yuk.
The rowdiest moment of their show was when they did Zeppelin (my
mind is drawing a blank on the song). Other than that - they were
pretty boring - and the crowd was pretty mello (compaired to any
other concert i've been to).
As for Judas Priest . . .
They Were EXCELLENT ! I had never seen them in concert before and
I was very impressed - their show was fantastic !

TOO BAD THEY HAD TO OPEN UP FOR PRIEST???? Judas Priest, may not
do too good of a live show, but they are legends. They have let
the times change them though, but still, give them a break, go directly
to the apology note!!!
As for Cinderella. Guess you've just got to have a musical ear.
All heavy metal does not have to sound the same. His voice is his
voice. Don Dokken doesn't have a particularly strong voice, but
it sounds good, and I've heard Robert Plant crack his voice one
too many times, and it was accepted. Cinderella is an up and coming
band, with a style all their own, and they've definetly sparked
my interest just because of that reason!!

i'll say a little bit on behalf on CINDY!!
they definitely got it together for LONG COLD WINTER, i love
all the bluesy tunes and i think that the big change from NIGHT
SONGS is a sign of professionallism (sp.).
I saw them at an outdoors concert in LEGEND VALLEY in
OHIO w/ bonjovi and they sounded superb. were talking almost
a square mile open field with 75,000 hot,wet fans....WE CAME,
WE SAW, WE KICKED YOUR ASS... and they did! for the last encore
JOVI had CINDY come back out on stage w/them and they all joined
in to do a cover of TRAVELIN BAND(C.C.R.) it was great, TOM
and JON sharing the same mike....ohhhhhhhhhh.....
I also just saw their LONG COLD WINTER tour w/AC/DC
and was even more impressed w/ their show, it seemed like they
split their song list right down the middle. half of their set
was tunes from NIGHT SONGS and the other half from L.COLD WINTER
which to me, coundn't have been thought out any better... all
the tunes that i wanted to hear which very seldom ever happens
when you go to a show... they usually always leave out a couple
of tunes that you may have wanted to hear....
as for LONG COLD WINTER.....

All you so called metal critics out there can go kiss my a*s! Regarding
his looks, they're fine! His hair is great, and who needs make-up
anyway? You wanna see ugly, then look at Slash, but leave Keifer
alone! What do looks have to do with guitar playing and vocals anyway?
As for their bluesy tone on their new album, it is a new direction
for the band. Great rock -n- roll was inspired by blues. For those
who doubt their metal punch, one can look to their First album "Night
Songs". As for being called Aerosmith clones, everyone has been
inspired by some artist.
To insult Cinderella in concert is the most stupid statement ever.
The energy they display playing live in concert is incredible! The
interaction with the crowd was great. They played ever song you
wanted to hear, and they played it with enthusiasm. Those who insult
Cinderella's concert performance have either never heard them or
were too gone to remember much. So in closing, if you don't like
Cinderella, you don't like Heavy Metal.

some killer tunes but not as jammin as they could be. Shake Me and

Bullet Boys - the sound wasnt' mixed right and had alot of feedback
plus someone should tell their lead singer that
he aint no DLR not even close. luckily they were
only on stage for 20 minutes.
Winger - pretty good show, the music was excellent and
Kip winger does know how to work a crowd and keep
the show moving. They were on for about 45 minutes.
Cinderella - Not to bad for there first headline tour. The
sound was right on the money and they didn't use
to much in the way of special effects. Just let
the music do the talking. they were probably
on for about an hour and a half.

I think it's GREAT! Cinderella was like an "eh" band with Night Songs,
and then they went pseudo-blues with LCW, but some of the songs on LCW
really suck! I think they have finnaly carved a nice R&R niche for
themselves. The horns and female-background-singers-of-color add a
great touch to a nitty gritty R&R band like Cinderella! Can't wait for
the CD!

| Well I finally saw Cinderella.....
I have to say when I first hear NIGHT SONGS I was
lovin' it!!
But after many years and a couple of so-so albums
I'm kinda dissapointed in them.
Review:
The mix was very poor.....lights were cool and Jeff LaBAR
was really cool to watch.
They seem to do better with their older material.....
Tom Keifer tried way too hard to act like Steven Tyler...
Fred's Drum solo was LAME!(nice light show though)
It sounded like Moby Dick from LZ...
How can I give respect to a guy that doesn't even play on the
albums?.?
Eric====boring!
Now to the best part of the show:
JEFF LABAR!!!
What a cool guy with monster stage presence and moves.....
He was sooo cool to watch!!!!
He is in the WRONG band!!!
I'd go just to see him play again....Too bad he gets
cheated out of solos.
Overall not a real cool show.....
(The guitarist in my band fell asleep during Cindarella)

When he walked out on stage, his fx rack was screwing up, or his
amps, or something. He changed guitars...still screwing up...
he had a cord changed...stikl screwing up...so he takes his
curly maple Les off and WINGS it into his stack of Marshalls like the
cry baby he was and storms off stage!
I have no respect for people like that

you need to upload a .WAV file of your drumming by Oct 7th to the

| First off, the only dudes in Conderella signed to the contract is
singer/guitarist Tom whatshisface and the stupid looking bassist
dude. The lead guitarist and drummer were "hired hands in the band".
Their producer, Andy Johns, would not allow the drummer to record,
as he didn't like his style. Hence, records were made with studio
musicians, while that Fred Curry guy had his mug on the albums and
did the tours. Fred eventually got booted from the band, and here
we are...
Fred is now playing with another booted band member, Steven Pearcy of
Ratt (talk about a loser band!).
