For you Die-Hard AC/DC fans, last I knew, there are 2 bootleg
albums at Wex Rex Records Located in Hudson on Main St. They are
Bon Scot's Last Oui Oui, and Livewire. I saw them while Browsing
there on day. I didn't buy them because i have copies already. They
were in good condition, But the price was a bit high...
$15 Bon Scot's last.....
$20 Livewire.

Good topic,
I seem to be able to find strange tapes I have an Alice Cooper
that's called "Freak Out Song" It's disgusting he sounds like
Elvis Presly, also I have a bootleg by Motly Crue that has
an unrealesed song called Running Wild In The Streets,And
Hotter Than Hell witch was later changed to Louder Than Hell
And A Demo tape from Too Fast For Love wich sound better than
the album that was realesed. It has Stick To Your Guns on it
a part of that song was used in a commercial I think it was for
Burger King.

| RE: .0
Funny thing you entered this note - just yesterday I went to about
5 Record stors looking for an old bootleg Aerosmith tape I bought
at Midland Records about 5 or 6 yrs ago. It cost me $20 back then -
it was expensive but worth it.
I think it was called "Aerosmith Bootleg" (I'm not sure tho). It
was a really good tape, which I lost - and wish I still had.
Have any of you heard of, or seen this tape?

The Van Halen tape you have is nothing special. Warner Bros.
has many of those two sided tapes for sale. But most stores don't
carry them 'cause they would rather you buy both of them separately.
Other bands with 2-album tapes include Dobbie Bros. and Black
Sabbath.

In Boston, usually every 3 or 4 months, they have a record collectors show.
If you want bootlegs, go there. I've seen quite a few, mostly tapes though.
There's an interesting VH one running around. I remember hearing about
3 or 4 years ago, VH was gonna release a live album from the US Festival. Then
Dave left and I assume the idea was scrapped. Radio stations were even playing
cuts from this soon to be released album. I guess they pressed some copies for
promo purposes, but after the breakup, stopped. Some of them are still around.
The really interesting aspect of the album is the record jacket. On the front
it has pictures of the band and a picture of a woman who looks like Valerie
Bertinelli. It's hard to tell because it's taken from far away through a win-
dow setup. On the back, yup it's Valerie, or an incredible look-alike, get
this, topless. She has nuthin on except for a diamond necklace that she's hold-
ing up to her mouth with an ever so sexy look on her face.
Has anyone else ever seen this or has anyone ever heard about it?
Does Dave hold the masters and is this some revenge? Hence the diamond
necklace.
I've also seen some Anthrax bootlegs. One is called "Screaming Architects
From Hell". It's live from Philly before "Fistfull of Metal" came out. Neil
Turbin is handling the vocals. I'm not sure if it's Dan Lilker or Frank Bello
on bass. No pictures of the band, just some weird drawings on the jacket.
There's also a more recent one from the "Among the Living" tour. The
jacket for this album has pictures stolen from the tour book.

I looked through me collection and found some more.
I have a promo copy of Whitesnakes "Come and Get It " LP.
Its Stamped Promo, and Not For Re-sale. Ha Ha!! I bought it at
a record store for about 7 bucks.
Another one I use to have was called Loud And Heavy. It had
some Live cuts from assorted groups like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple,
and Motorhead I think.... I traded it for AC/DC Australian version
Let There Be Rock. Good deal if you ask me!!

I once saw "Whitesnake - 1987 - Versions" in a shop for 20.
It was an Ep and had the "new" versions of about five of their oldies.
It was an import. I didn't have the on me at the time and I never
saw it again :-(
I've got tons of metal albums with "Promotional copy - not for re-sale"
on them. I get them given to me by our local radion station.

Hi Shiela! The album you are referring to is
Aerosmith Live Bootleg. It was originally a
bootleg, but it came out so well, they either
bought it from the guy who did it, or caught him
(I forget which) and called it Bootleg. I
haven't seen it around for a while now that you
mention it.

I have a few that I bought off of a guy in front of Hubba Hubba
in Cambridge, that some of you might be interested in.
I got a Steve Vai solo gig at some tiny club in San Francisco right before
he went on tour with Alcatrazz. Good sound quality and it has some
great moments on it.
I also got the Dokken segment of Monsters of Rock (bleahhh).
The guy had all the segments of MOR, plus a lot of heavy metal
thrash/hardcore bands, like Megadeth, Metallica, etc. that I bet
might be worth something someday. He is like a professional
bootleg distributor. When I saw him he had hundreds of tapes.
The sound quality is surprisingly clear.

114.21 | Zeppelin Bootlegs! | STRATA::MVALERA | | Fri May 12 1989 01:03 | 18 |
| Bootlegs! You want to know about bootlegs! Well I have several
Led Zeppelin bootlegs! Most were purchased at Album's in Fitchburg
Ma. and the others were bought up in PA. I'll give you an idea
of some of the weird album titles. "Sweet Jelly Role"--recorded
in Cleveland,Ohio sometime in June of 1977. "Egg on your Face",
"Persistence", "How Many More Times", "Tangiable Vandilism",
"In Through the Outtakes", "Mudslide", as you can see some very
bizzare album titles! You should see the album covers, they are
pretty strange looking also. They , of course are not in the bes
of quality, but when you are into a group like Led Zeppelin, every-
one of these bootlegs becomes priceless!
Well, good luck in finding your bootlegs! and remember,
"The Dogs of Doom are Howling More"

basement stuff, a party they played at, and a concert. It's pretty
cool.
I also have a Dokken bootleg that I taped at Great Woods, and one
that I got taped from a club show in LA (Breaking the Chains).
I also saw some Metallica stuff at Headlines in N. Conway and
Nashua, NH.

The 4th QR album is titled "Quiet Riot" and Paul Shortino
from Rough Cutt does the vocals.
You might've heard "Stay With Me Tonight" on the radio a
few months ago, or seen the video on the HBB.
It's OK ... my favorite was "Stay With Me Tonight".
RE: Randy Rhoads
Randy recorded a couple records with QR that were
never actually released ... although there are some
people who have copies. Read some of the earlier
