| If you are asking for a license part number, they are no longer
available. This product is only being update to keep service
customers running on the current version on VMS. A customer can
purchase service if they do not already have it.
Because the product has been retired, there is no new SPD available
on VTX IR. There is a copy available on line if you need it however,
due to system problems I cannot send that to you right now. If you
have a need for it, let me know and as soon as the system problem is
resolved I can send it to you.

Okay - I'm confused then - we have a large (ie: Corporate) customer who has
many older VAXstations on which they need to continue to run VWS. They are
under maintenance.... do they just wait for it to show up on the next
CONDIST to get the new version ???

| Arlan,
It is not on CONDIST, in fact it is not even available on CDROM.
If the customer is already a service customer they should have received
the
latest version when it updated. If they are not currently a service
customer
they would have to purchase service to receive the update.
When you say they are under maintenance, I'm not sure what that means.
It
sound like a hardware contract to me, which has nothing to do with the
service for their software. So if that is the case, then they need to
purchase software services which will entitle them to updates.
