Hi, Our customer has an AlphaS-255 with VMS 6.2 and OPEN3D 3.4 (or 3.5), and Motif 1.2-3 .It has a drawing board III (Digitizer) from Calcomp. Moving the mouse they only can get through half the screen, not below this middle part. In an Alphastation 255 with Open3D 3.3 and Motif 1.2-3 this works correctly. In other stations with 3.4 or 3.5 the problem is reproduced. They have upgraded Motif to 1.2-4 and works only if they put in the DECW$TABLE start, the verbose qualifier. But they believe the .log will grow a lot with this qualifier and would loose a lot of disk space (are they right about this??). Does Open3D supports this tablet and which are the version requirements? Regards, Victor G.

No, there is no code in Open3D that even knows about the tablet. Your description makes it sound like there's an interaction, but it's not in the code itself. Perhaps some initialization files, or settings? Is it the ADDITION of any upgrade of Open3D, or does it really follow the version, i.e., if you took a 3.4 system with the problem, and lowered the version to 3.3, does it now work? |
