2726.0. "hpgl and clear workstation" by KERNEL::AUSTIN () Wed Mar 26 1997 09:50
Hi,
I have a query on what a CLEAR WORKSTATION call should produce in hp-gl.
We have a customer who is attempting to plot to a HP7585 plotter and was
expecting that a clear workstation call would eject paper and allow new sheet to
be inserted. He has a metafile containing several plots and when processing this
he is finding all plots are being drawn on the same sheet, even though a clear
workstation call is being issued between each plot.
I haven't been able to find a clear answer to this and don't have access to a
HP plotter to check what happens. Should he close the workstation and re-open
between each plot ?
I'd be grateful for any information or pointers.
Thanks,
Simon Austin
